Frequently Asked Questions about Tools

What size trowel do I need for my project?

We carry ½” square notch trowel down to 1/8” square and V notch. Larger tiles generally require trowels with larger notches to allow for more adhesive to carry the weight. Waterproofing and heated floor membranes also have their own required notch size to ensure not too much adhesive is spread. Let us know what tiles or membrane you are setting and we will make sure you leave with the correct size.
