Why use a LevTec Tiling System?
With possible irregularities in substrates, and the tiles themselves, the best way to ensure a proper bond, and a flat surface without lippage is the use of a tile leveling system. The Lev Tec Tiling System utilizes a wedge that slides into a Lev Tec Tiling Clip. The clip also serves as a spacer, giving the desired joint size. After the adhesive sets, the wedges are removed, and the clip snaps off at the breakpoint below the tile, leaving the joint space ready for grouting. Lev Tec pliers, although not required, reduce fatigue and ensures consistent pressure is applied throughout the installation.
